As I lie here
Drifting off to sleep
My heart drifts to you

you're arms wrap around me
and carry me through

And though earth and water
Keep us apart

I love you more than these
Simple words impart

More than rhymes of passion
So true

The clouds that drift across
the sky carry my heart to you
