Doors do not always come open
especially as a first generation student
at WMU they seem to be open a little wider
a little more welcoming
trying out a radio show,
being a tour guide,
helping students as a co-facilitator,
volunteering alongside Eta Eta Sigma members.
One day receiving a bachelor's degree
as an honors student.
Doors opening further,
as my time as a bronco has given me the courage
to pursue all of my dreams.
